Review by hotel critic
Review of HedmarktoppenHedmarktoppen offers an intriguing blend of value and comfort, nestled just 4 km from the city center, boasting stunning views, especially at night. Our group of 21 travelers found the cottages appealing for their picturesque surroundings. We encountered an unexpected concern: the cleanliness of the cottages upon arrival, which could detract from the overall experience. Despite this, the pricing is commendable, making it a worthwhile choice for budget-conscious travelers. The cottages accommodate up to seven guests and are equipped with essential amenities, including heating, cookware, and an electric kettle stationed in a common area. The staff deserves recognition for their efficiency; extending our stay was simple and hassle-free through a few messages. With shared facilities for restrooms and showers and limited spaciousness, Hedmarktoppen's charm lies more in its location than in opulence. It's an ideal base for adventures in nature, perfect for those prioritizing experience over extravagance. It's a sensible option for travelers seeking balance between luxury and affordability.
